Do you accept new patients?
Yes, we are currently accepting new patients. Please complete the form found under the “Contact” tab and someone will be in touch shortly to schedule your first appointment.
What insurance plans do you accept?
Currently accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, and Mass General Brigham health insurances. Awaiting credentialing for Harvard Pilgrim and Medicare. At this time, Helen is unable to accept Medicaid.
Do you offer telehealth appointments?
Yes, we offer secure video visits for many types of appointments.
Who are telehealth visits suitable for?
Telehealth visits are a convenient and effective option for many patients, including those who:
- • Need care for non-emergency issues like cold symptoms, allergies, minor infections, or skin conditions
- • Manage chronic conditions and require routine follow-ups
- • Prefer flexible care due to mobility, distance, or schedule constraints
- • Need to review lab results, imaging, or treatment progress
Please note: for primary care patients or those with chronic conditions, it is recommended to have a blood pressure monitor at home and be comfortable using it independently.
Do you prescribe controlled substances or refill a prescription originally initiated by another provider?
At this time, Helen is unable to prescribe controlled substances such as opiate pain relief and anxiolytics such as benzodiazepines, even if initiated by another provider.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your insurance card, photo ID, a list of current medications, and any relevant medical records from previous providers.
Do I have to be local to meet with you virtually?
Helen is able to treat patients virtually who reside anywhere in the state of Massachusetts. For telehealth, you do not need to be located in Worcester County.
Do you offer in-person care?
Yes! Helen has an office in Westborough, MA and currently sees patients there on Mondays.
